Peter Lie, REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Peter has been practicing massage since 2005, after he graduated from WCCMT. Tending to focus primarily on musculoskeletal concerns, his approach tends to focus on neurology and the interaction of the nervous system and issues that a patient is presenting with. Using manual therapy is generally his preferred method of treatment, utilizing a mix of Swedish massage and trigger point release, as well as range of motion techniques and gentle joint mobilization.

Peter has taken additional courses in TMJD concerns and pregnancy massage, and has worked with individuals training for endurance activities like marathons, triathlons and long distance cycling. Being in Vancouver, he is familiar with both the weekend warriors and those that work in an office environment and understands the concerns that these clients have, especially when those two are combined.

Though he may look like he’s 12, Peter is wise beyond his years and tries to make a comfortable space to provide care.

Peter is able to bill directly to a variety of extended health care insurers.
